The IPMA Global Research Awards were handed out in Zagreb!

The IPMA has awarded prizes to research projects which contribute to the development of the project management field. The award-winning research work addresses the most important challenges faced by our discipline: sustainable development, mega-project management and effective leadership. For the last two days the Research Conference participants have had the opportunity to learn about the results of the winning research projects. The challenge now is to disseminate this knowledge and implement proposed solutions in accordance with IPMA’s mission to contribute to successful projects all over the world.
Before starting the official part of this ceremony, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all volunteers who generously helped to organised and realise this successful event. Thank you very much and let’s start the 2019 IPMA Global Research Award ceremony” – said Martin Sedlmayer, the IPMA VP Products and Serviceswhile welcoming the gathered audience of over 200 guests.

Awards applications are evaluated by a group of dedicated research judges based on the following criteria: research results achieved, originality, theoretical foundation, transparency, professionalismof research processes and methodologies, practical relevance, recognition and/or influential impact on further research on project management. Each application has been verified by at least 3 Judges and the final decision was made during a virtual Judges meeting. Being nominated as finalist means that you have been recognised by your peers.
