Winners of the IPMA Young Project Manager Award 2025 – the Next Generation of Leaders

This year, as we continue the proud tradition of recognising remarkable talent, the spotlight turns to the Young Project Manager of the Year 2025 finalists — the next generation of leaders shaping the future of the profession.

This prestigious category celebrates exceptional young professionals (under the age of 35) who have already demonstrated visionary leadership, innovation, and professional maturity. They are not only managing complex projects — they are redefining what’s possible in their industries and communities.

Following an extensive, multi-stage international evaluation by a panel of experienced assessors, three extraordinary finalists have emerged — each showcasing strategic excellence, creativity, and an inspiring commitment to progress.

The winners were formally announced during the IPMA Global Awards Gala on 19 September 2025 in Berlin, Germany.

The winners of the Young Project Manager of the Year 2025 category are:

• Gold – Rahim Thompson (USA) – IHMEC Global Programs, Projects, and Social Justice Initiatives, Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center
• Silver – Tomer Amir (United Kingdom) – Fernovo’s New Loans ML/AI Algorithm, Fernovo
• Bronze – Kristijan Trbojevic (Croatia) – Ride Safety, Infinum
