Great projects are built on more than engineering expertise. They are shaped by vision, brought to life through collaboration, and defined by the people who lead them through complexity.
The IPMA Global Awards Team is proud to celebrate the winners of the Construction / Engineering / Infrastructure Projects 2026 category — projects that demonstrate what becomes possible when ambitious goals are matched by exceptional project leadership.
This year’s entries showcased an impressive breadth of achievement, from complex engineering challenges to projects creating lasting value for communities, industries and the infrastructure around us. Behind every submission was a team navigating uncertainty, balancing competing demands and turning ambitious plans into meaningful results.
For the assessors, selecting the finalists meant looking beyond the scale and complexity of each project to the qualities that truly set exceptional projects apart: the ability to bring people together, respond to challenges, innovate when it matters and deliver value that extends well beyond project completion.
The Winners are:

The 2026 winners represent these qualities in action. Their projects are not only examples of successful delivery — they are stories of ambition, expertise, resilience and impact.

The winners were honoured on stage at the IPMA Global Awards Gala Ceremony, held on 18 September 2026 in Hiroshima, Japan, as part of the 35th IPMA World Congress.
We congratulate all the winning teams and everyone whose dedication contributed to their success. Their achievements remind us that the most remarkable projects are ultimately about more than what we build, they are about the lasting difference we create.
