Global Individual Award

The application offers a unique opportunity for recognition of the competencies you have gained in the categories of:

The Awards showcase excellence and innovation in managing portfolios, programs, and projects of all sizes and across all business sectors.

Project Excellence Awards

If your team demonstrates and can prove outstanding project and program management achievements, this competition is for you!

1. Small-/Medium-sized projects

For a projects with a budget of < 50 € million. Applicants compete in the Small-/ Medium-Sized project category and are judged individually by qualified international Judges based on an Application Report. 

The categories are:

• IT/Telecommunications
• Construction/ Engineering/Infrastructure:
• Change Management/Product Development/Marketing
• Social/Regional Development/Community Service
• Sustainability Project Management
• Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Project Management
• PMO Award

2. Large-/Mega-sized Projects – all categories

The projects compete in the categories as below and are judged individually based on the written Application Report and the Site Visit of a team of international Assessors: 

• Large- (with a budget of 50-200 million euros) and
• Mega-sized (>200 million euros) Project

The Finalists of the IPMA Global Awards will be honored at the Award Gala, as a final event of the 35th IPMA World Congress in Hiroshima, Japan.

After the competition, Applicants receive a Feedback Report from the Judges that describes the strengths and areas for improvement in the selected Project Excellence Model criteria.
