Spotlight on the finalist of the Construction / Engineering / Infrastructure Award

IPMA is delighted to announce the finalists of the Small and Medium-Sized Project Awards in Construction / Engineering / Infrastructure category.

These awards highlight outstanding achievements within projects or project phases completed with budgets under €50 million.

This year marks a record-breaking number of applications, reflecting the growing importance of construction, engineering, and infrastructure in driving successful project outcomes. The overall quality of the submissions was truly exceptional, showcasing remarkable innovation, precision, and dedication across all projects. The judging process has never been more challenging, as every entry demonstrated significant achievements and high standards of project management excellence.

The construction and engineering sector continues to play a vital role in shaping our communities, advancing industries, and creating sustainable solutions for the future. By highlighting these top-performing projects, we recognize not only their technical and managerial achievements but also their lasting impact on society.

The finalists of Construction / Engineering / Infrastructure Projects 2025 are:

  • Xingtai Construction Group Co., Ltd, from China, with a project Beijing Normal University Ordos Affiliated School Construction Project
  • Pezhvak Energy Engineering Services Company, from Iran, with a project Provision of Engineering Services, Procurement, Drilling Operations,
    Commissioning, and Other Drilling Services for 6 Wells in Sepehr-Jufair Oil Fields Under an EPDS Contract
  • Shahid Rajaee Institute, from Iran, with a project Hazrat-e-Zahra Parkway
  • Solutions by STC, from Saudi Arbia, with a project Network & Security Managed Services
  • China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Group Ltd. Belgrade, from Serbia, with a project Danube Corridor Project (Požarevac–Veliko Gradište–Golubac Expressway) Subsection 1 Morava Bridge and Camp
  • City of Cape Town, from South Africa, with a project Coastal Park Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)
  • City of Cape Town, from South Africa, with a Paardevlei Switching Station Project City of Cape Town

 

The final rankings will be announced during the IPMA Global Awards Gala Ceremony on 19 September 2025 in Berlin, Germany.

This year’s Awards Gala will be special, as we celebrate 60 years of IPMA — the world’s oldest project management association — and the closing of the 34th IPMA World Congress!
