After more than a decade, the IPMA Global Awards returned to Greece. We are pleased to announce that the IPMA Project Excellence Assessment Training was successfully delivered in Athens from 19 to 21 March.All participants passed the final examination, demonstrating strong commitment to project excellence and bringing valuable expertise from their organizations. The three‑day program was centered on the IPMA Project Excellence Assessment Model and provided a comprehensive learning pathway for individuals and organisations aiming to apply the model to projects, programmes, or enterprise‑level initiatives.
Key topics included:
– An overview of IPMA and the processes behind the IPMA Global Awards
– The rationale and objectives of the IPMA Project Excellence baseline
– A detailed review of the Project Excellence Model: criteria, structure, and scoring
– Roles and responsibilities of assessors, judges, and award applicants
– The full project assessment process: individual assessments, consensus building, site visits, and development of Feedback Reports
Outcomes for participants:
– Deep understanding of the Project Excellence Model, its assessment criteria, and feedback mechanisms
– Practical skills to apply the model and promote project excellence within their organisations
– Eligibility to participate in the IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards as assessors or applicants
