Spotlight on the IPMA Sustainability Project Manager Award Winners 2024!

The IPMA is thrilled to unveil the first recipients of the Sustainability Project Management Award, the newest addition to the IPMA Global Individual Awards portfolio.

This prestigious award celebrates individuals who excel in embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into their projects. It honours leaders from among 2025 teams who exemplify sustainable practices, uphold ethical standards, and demonstrate a strong commitment to social responsibility.

The assessment for this award is rooted in the Sustainable Guide for Project Management, a newly published IPMA standard.

We were delighted to announce the inaugural winners during the IPMA Global Awards Gala, held on 29 November in Cape Town, South Africa. The awards were presented by Mr. Max Panaro, the project manager of the remarkable team behind the development of the new standard.
