Project Excellence Assessment Training Successfully Held in New Delhi

The IPMA Project Excellence Assessment Training was successfully completed in New Delhi, India, with all 16 participants passing the final examination.
Centered on the IPMA Project Excellence Assessment, the training delivered a comprehensive learning experience for individuals and organizations seeking to implement the IPMA Project Excellence Model across projects, programs, or entire organizations.

The three-day program, held from 11 to 13 December, featured interactive, hands-on sessions, in-depth discussions, and expert presentations covering key topics, including:

  • An overview of IPMA and the processes behind the IPMA Global Awards
  • The rationale and objectives of the IPMA Project Excellence Baseline
  • A detailed examination of the Project Excellence Model, including its criteria, structure, and scoring system
  • The roles and responsibilities of assessors, judges, and award applicants
  • A comprehensive review of the project assessment process, encompassing individual assessments, consensus building, site visits, and the development of Feedback Reports for applicant organizations

Upon completion of the training, participants gained:

  • A deep understanding of the Project Excellence Model, its assessment criteria, feedback mechanisms, and practical application within their organizations
  • The ability to apply these competencies to foster project excellence in their respective environments
  • Eligibility to participate in the IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards, either as assessors or as competitors

The training was expertly facilitated by seasoned assessors and trainers, Graham Woodward and Subas Subedi.

The next Project Excellence Assessment Training is scheduled for spring 2026.
