IPMA is pleased to reveal the finalists of the Sustainability Project Management Award 2025, which recognises outstanding projects and organisations that have placed sustainability at the heart of their projects.
In today’s world, marked by environmental challenges, social responsibility, and the need for ethical leadership, sustainability should not be an opption — but our choice. The project shortlisted this year have shown how ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles can be embedded not only in project objectives, but also in their day-to-day execution.
This award honours those projects that have successfully translated sustainability ambitions into practical actions — through inclusive stakeholder engagement, responsible planning, and long-term value creation for both society and the environment.
The Solutions by STC, with its project FutureSmart City: Redefining Urban Innovation for a Sustainable Future has been named a finalist for the Sustainability Project Management Award 2025.
The evaluation was based on the IPMA Sustainable Guide for Project Management, the newest IPMA standard designed to guide and inspire professionals and organisations toward more resilient, responsible, and future-oriented project management.
The final rankings will be announced during the IPMA Global Awards Gala Ceremony on 19 September 2025 in Berlin, Germany.
