Future of Project Management: Announced finalists of Young Project Manager of the Year 2024 category

The International Project Management Association and the IPMA Young Crew are excited to unveil the finalists for the IPMA Global Individual Awards in the category of Young Project Manager of the Year.

After an extensive six-month evaluation process, during which young project managers up to 36 years old from across the globe submitted their applications, the finalists were selected based on their adherence to the Individual Competence Baseline.

This rigorous assessment ensures that only the most exceptional candidates make it to the final stage.

The finalists in the category of Young Project Manager of the Year, are as follows:

  • Setsabile Manana, from South Africa, led the project “Integrated Rapid Transport (IRT) Phase 2A”
  • Ali Nemati Allah Abad from Iran, who led the project “ Establishing Project Management Office (PMO) in Hirbod Niroo Company”
  • Miloš  Stevanović from Serbia, who led the project “Carbody relocation”.

IPMA extends heartfelt congratulations to all the participants in the 2024 Individual Awards across all categories. A special commendation goes to the three finalists who have distinguished themselves through their outstanding achievements and innovative approaches in project management.

The final rankings— Gold, Silver, Bronze—will be announced at the IPMA Global Awards Gala Ceremony on November 29, 2024, in Cape Town, South Africa.
The IPMA Awards Gala will be the closing event of this year’s 33rd IPMA World Congress, with the promising title “HOPE”.
