The Winners in the Social, Regional Development and Community Service category are:
The bronze award goes to WEglobal S.R.L. from Italy. According to the Judges, they were most impressed by the stakeholder participation and relationships created by the project team that helped realise their many project goals and achieve all permits in time. WEglobal S.R.L. is an organisation that provides development solutions to governments, NGO’s, academia and the private sector. Their project is the “Support to the Quality Infrastructure Framework within a DCFTA context in the Republic of Moldova”.
The silver award goes to the City of Cape Town. The Judges were impressed by the way the Dunoon LIbrary project was delivered in a challenging geograpic area, with many excellent project and community results. Cape Town is the second largest populated city in South Africa, after Johannesburg as well as the legislative capital of South Africa. The Project they submitted is the “Dunoon Library”.
The gold award goes to the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The judges award the Academy with the gold prize for this project, that had to deal with many stakeholders and overcame major difficulties in the execution phase such as Covid restrictions as well as evaluating and improving their approach during the project. The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a higher educational institution with a special status in the country that provides training, retraining and advanced training for civil servants. The project they submitted is the “Organization and Implementation of the First National Competition for Improving Project Management in Public Administration “Qazaqstan Project Management Awards 2020″”.
