The IPMA Awards team is delighted to announce the upcoming 3-day IPMA Project Excellence Assessment Training scheduled to take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from March 25 to March 27, 2024.

This training presents a unique opportunity for professionals to enhance their skills and become a part of the prestigious IPMA Global Project Excellence Award.

Successful participation in the training gives you the opportunity to qualify as a possible assessor to assess applications submitted for the IPMA Global Project Excellence Award – the annual competition for the best-managed projects in the world.

The training provides you with all the tools needed to implement the Project Excellence Model for internal evaluations of projects in your organisation.

The training focuses on developing participants:

• knowledge about the IPMA Project Excellence Baseline®;
• skills necessary to apply the Project Excellence principles in an organisation.

The training approach is activity-based learning, meaning that participants participate in group work and exercises, apply their own experiences, and work on real cases.

After the training, the participants will:

• Understand the IPMA Project Excellence Model (part of the IPMA PEB), including:
• The three areas of the Project Excellence Model;
• The assessment criteria;
• The feedback process (including describing strengths and areas for improvement);
• Understand how to apply the IPMA PEB in organisations.
