2024 IPMA Large- & Mega-Sized Projects Award Finalists in the category Infrastructure projects announcement!

The IPMA Award Office is proud to announce the finalists of the IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards, Large- & Mega-Sized Projects Award competition and selected the Winners in the category of Large- and Mega-Sized projects!

The Judges’ decision was based on the Project reports submitted by the applicants and reports provided by the Project Excellence Assessment Teams, which evaluated the applicant projects in accordance with the IPMA Project Excellence Baseline.

This year, our team of 5 international judges, experts in the field of project management with more than 25 years of experience in the field, had a harder job than ever due to the huge number of extraordinarily excellent applications.

After the 3 months long assessment process, the judges decide to nominate finalists in two subcategories:

The finalists of the IPMA Project Excellence Awards, Larg&Mega- sized Projects, subcategory Infrastructure Projects are:

• Shenzhen Water and Environment Group Co., Ltd. with the project Shenzhen Lotus-Water Culture and Science Education Base, and the total duration of the project was 3 years, with more than 600 people involved
• Hrvatske Ceste LTD, with the project Road Connection with Southern Dalmatia and a total duration of the project was 7 years, with more than 1500 people involved
• China Academy of Space Technology, with the project China Space Station Construction Project, and a total duration of the project was 12 years, with more than 26000 people involved

The final rankings— Gold, Silver, Bronze—will be announced at the IPMA Global Awards Gala Ceremony on November 29, 2024, in Cape Town, South Africa.

The IPMA Awards Gala will be the closing event of this year’s 33rd IPMA World Congress, with the promising title “HOPE”.
